This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Early indictions are that the reunion will be well attended. Plan early. Plan on arriving in Anchorage the day before the Reunion Functions in the event of cancelled or delayed flights.
Come on out and share your memories of high school in Anchorage, Alaska in the 50's. See what has happened at the "old haunts", find old friends and make new ones. Don't you wonder what some of your classmates have been doing since 1954?
One thing that has not changed is the beauty of the Alaskan summer. June is the height of the tourist season, so, be sure to plan early. Check out the useful "Hotel Information" Link on this site. Also, there are useful links at "Alaska Travel".
We are trying to find someone who can scan-off the Senior (Anchor) Yearbook pictures from 1954 and get them to us. Let us know if there are pictures in your photo album from AHS school days and if you would be willing to share them. Please E-mail Frank Putzel: fjputzel@hotmail.com.
In the meantime, have a look at the "1954 as Freshmen" Link on this site.
Please feel free to wander "YOUR AHS 1954" web site, if there is a special message you would like to send the Reunion Committee link to "Comment" and send it.
Check back to this site often for any announcements or changes.
Another reminder: The Name Tag you receive at registration will serve as your "admittance" to all events.

On June 24, 2004
the weather cooperated and by all indications, "a good time was had by all" at the 50th Reunion Celebration!
It is always a treat to renew friendships and make new friends from old classmates.
It is well to remember classmates who have "gone" and recall the bittersweet memories of their lives.
